IBR – Day 4 Flash Report
First Rider In
Way too clean
Getting out of
the Rally Van with lunches for staff members cranking away in the work room, we
noticed a motorcyclist just getting off his R1200GSA. It was set up for
long-distance riding but awfully clean, so we assumed it was one of our
volunteers. Nope, it was George Levar, rider 58, with a freshly washed
windscreen, maybe hoping to slip in unnoticed. Since we can, we checked his
SPOT track, which shows why he looks so fresh: his GPS unit spent a restful
night in a residential neighborhood, which, strangely, is on the same street as
his official residence.
